Hikaru Furuhashi is a jewelry designer based in San Francisco, California.
Hikaru’s namesake line of jewelry is a culmination of her interest in the traditional and contemporary folk culture and arts all around the world. Growing up in the mountains of Japan she was inspired by simple shapes and contours of her environment. Later, travel exposed her to the colors, shapes and lines produced by the hands and natural elements of the world.
Hikaru’s jewelry is lovingly hand-crafted in her San Francisco studio using environmentally and ethically responsible methods and materials, such as recycled metals and conflict-free gemstones.
